NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ meteorologist Al Roker recently shared an adorable snap of himself with his wife Deborah Roberts and son Nick as the couple dropped the young man at college for his sophomore year.
Nick had been staying with his family in their hometown for a few months now and enjoying his dad’s delicious cuisine. However, it was time for him to move back and continue with college.
The NBC host also celebrated his 69th birthday over the weekend. After having an intimate celebration, Roker and Roberts dropped Nick at college, and ‘Today’ fans didn’t hold back from sending him uplifting messages.

Back on Friday, Roker’s co-host Craig Melvin revealed on the show about his upcoming big weekend as it was his birthday and the beginning of Nick’s continued college journey.
Roker took to his Instagram to share a sweet picture of himself with Nick and Deborah Roberts. The three of them gave a broad smile and looked tired. The picture was taken from Nick’s hostel and they were in casual attire.
Roker captioned the post, “Back to the #emptynest after dropping our young man at college for a sophomore year.”
