Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been hospitalized, according to numerous outlets.

Wozniak was scheduled to speak in Mexico City on Wednesday, said a CNN source involved with organizing the World Business Forum event.

At this time, it's unclear exactly why Wozniak was hospitalized. According to a TMZ source, the 73-year-old Apple co-founder told his wife that he was "feeling strange" and then began showing concerning symptoms which prompted the trip to the hospital.

TMZ is reporting that Wozniak could have been experiencing vertigo, but tests are still being performed. However, there are conflicting reports here. Spanish-language outlets have been reporting that Wozniak suffered a stroke.

Steve Wozniak, also known by Apple fans as "Woz," founded the company alongside Steve Jobes in 1976. In recent years, Wozniak has continued to travel, speaking at events and advocating technology and entrepreneurial efforts around the world.

Mashable will update this piece as soon as more is known about Wozniak's condition.
