Stede and Ed cope with their breakup in 'Our Flag Means Death' Season 2 trailer

I've got some good news for all the Our Flag Means Death fans out there, but I've also got some bad news.

The good news? The teaser for the pirate comedy's highly anticipated Season 2 is finally here. The bad news? It looks like Gentleman Pirate Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby) and Ed "Blackbeard" Teach (Taika Waititi) are still dealing with their painful breakup from the end of Season 1. Let's just say their coping mechanisms are... different.

Stede has fully embraced the lovelorn pirate aesthetic, throwing love letters in bottles into the sea in the hopes Ed will find them. Meanwhile, Ed is crashing weddings with his new pirate crew, stealing bride and groom cake toppers, and painting them to look like him and Stede. Look, we all deal with pain in different ways.

With rival pirate crews and new enemies on the horizon, will Stede and Ed find their way back to each other? Or is everyone's favorite pirate ship doomed to sink forever?
