Amazon is offering select Chase credit card users 50% off eligible products when they pay with Chase Ultimate Rewards.
The limited-time offer, which maxes out at a discount of $60, is available on an invite-only basis and expires at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 13.
If you're lucky enough to have been chosen by Chase, you can redeem the credit by tapping "Activate promotion" on the deal page and applying points to your next order. The discount should appear when you use at least one point toward a purchase.
Ultimate Rewards points will be temporarily set as your payment method at checkout, and the discount is reflected on the final order, assuming you've included at least some eligible items.
There are some caveats, of course: Eligible products are only those shipped and sold by Amazon.com; items sold by third-party or other Amazon entities do not qualify—even if marked as "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible."
This offer is available only to Amazon.com customers with an appropriate Chase Ultimate Rewards card issued in the US. And the offer is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be resold.
According to the fine print, customers are limited to one promotion code per Chase Ultimate Rewards card and Amazon account. This offer may not be combined with others and does not apply to the purchase of digital content or Amazon gift cards. Shipping charges may be applied to discounted promotional items.
Keep in mind when redeeming points at checkout that each one is worth $0.008, which means 100 points equals $0.80 in redemption value.
