The famed Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is back in 2023 on July 4 and you can find out how to watch the action with or without cable here!

It wouldn't be a Fourth of July without the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Every year, the best women and men in competitive eating head for Coney Island to scarf down as many hot dogs as possible in the span of 10 minutes.

But you don't have to be in New York to watch the competition. You can tune in from the comfort of your own home or whoever's backyard is hosting the Independence Day barbeque this year.

We've got you covered whether you have access to cable or not.

Coverage of the eating competition begins at 10:45 a.m. ET with the women's competition featuring Miki Sudo, but that takes place only on streaming on ESPN3.

The men's competition featuring Joey Chestnut will air on ESPN2 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Watch ESPN will have the live stream of both events available online whether on computer or a mobile device. However, you'll still need to log in via a cable service provider.

If you've cut the cord, you still have options!

Last year, Chestnut downed 63 hot dogs to retain his crown as the king of Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest for the seventh year in a row. He managed that even though he was disrupted mid-competition by a protestor.

Sudo returned from an absence in 2021 to reclaim her title by putting down 40 hot dogs.

We'll have to see if the two competitive eating legends do it again or if a new challenger shocks the world.
