Chrissy Teigen has hilarious reaction to wardrobe malfunction at Baby2Baby Gala
Chrissy Teigen had a hilarious reaction to her latest wardrobe mishap. The model, 37, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a snap of her outfit at the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala. For the occasion, she opted for a black dress with a high-knee slit adorned with a sparkling 3D flower decal. She also paired the outfit with a gold clutch and black heels. As she shared photos of the event on her since-expired Instagram Story, captured by People, she revealed that she had a bit of a wardrobe problem during the event. In the picture, she was seen sitting in a chair with her back turned, as her dress accidentally slipped open along its zipper. Teigen, who was bent over in the photo, continued to poke fun at the dress malfunction in the caption, writing: “Oh lol.” This isn’t the first time that Teigen has shared a candid reaction to a wardrobe issue. Back in 2017, fans noticed her shirt happened to be sheer while she was sitting in the stands at the Super Bowl with her husband, John Legend. However, Teigen didn’t hesitate to play the situation off on social media. At the time, per Us Weekly, she simply retweeted the video and wrote: “Boom goes the dynamite.” On 11 November, the mother of four was one of the many famous faces at the annual gala that raises money for Baby2Baby, which “provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves,” according to its official website. The star-studded guest list at the event included Kim Kardashian, Salma Hayek, Olivia Wilde, Heidi Klum, Matthew McConaughey, and Zoe Saldaña. This year, Channing Tatum also presented Hayek with the Giving Tree Award, in honour of the work that her charity has done to help underprivileged children in Mexico. “All children are our children. We have a responsibility. They hold in their hands our future. They are our hope,” she said during her speech, per The Hollywood Reporter. “Dignity is an essential; diapers are dignity, make no mistake. Love is an essential. For all these children and all the mothers and all their families, how can we say ‘Let’s love, not hate,’ but how do you teach compassion and empathy to people who have never felt compassion and empathy from anyone?” Hayek concluded: “So, in everything you donate and everything that Baby2Baby brings to every single home or street, there is an intention. It’s not just money. It is love. It is compassion. It is caring. We are all interconnected.” Read More The Wrong Coat? Jennifer Lopez explains why she ‘understands’ that her 15-year-old twins ‘don’t want to talk’ to her
Jennifer Lopez has shared some thoughts about motherhood and explained why her 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme, “don’t want to talk” to her anymore. The 53-year-old singer talked about how her children, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, are in the midst of their teenage years during a recent appearance on The View. She noted that when raising her children with husband Ben Affleck, she’s been more of the “bad cop” instead of the good one. “I remember my mom saying to me, ‘I’m always the bad guy, I got to discipline you,’” she said about her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez. “And there is some truth to that. You get a little bit of the brunt of it.” After tying the knot in 2022, Lopez blended her family with Affleck’s, who shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennfier Garner: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. During her appearance on The View, the Shotgun Wedding star noted how her mother’s wisdom about parenting stayed with her, as her twins have started to spend less time with her. “I’m experiencing this now, you know we all experience it for the first time with our own kids,” Lopez explained. “And you’re just like, ‘Oh, this is what she was talking about.’ This is the time where your kids don’t want to talk to you. And they’re kind of individuating from you.” She continued: “And it’s all necessary. And intellectually, I understand it, but my heart, my heart hurts.” When TV host Sunny Hostin poked fun at how teenagers sometimes stay “locked up in their rooms,” Lopez agreed. She explained how she encourages her twins to come out of their rooms, as she exclaimed: “Let’s hang out. I miss you!” This isn’t the first time that Lopez has opened up about her relationship with her twins. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February 2022, the Marry Me star discussed how her children feel about having a famous mother. “They love it and they don’t. I think they’re very proud. They love me, I love them,” she said. “The three of us are like super, super close. But I think it’s a thing that people know who their mom is. They’re navigating that. They’re teenagers now. Their friends know things.” Earlier this year, Lopez took to Instagram to share a video tribute to Max and Emme in honour of their 15th birthday. Affleck also makes an appearance in the video, as he was seen hugging Max in one short clip, while another photo showed him posing at a table with his wife and her two children. “Happy birthday to my beautiful, brilliant coconuts,” the “On the Floor” singer wrote in the caption. “I am so proud of you both in every single way. You bring so much joy and happiness to my heart and soul. I love you beyond forever.” Read More Jennifer Lopez’s mom says she ‘prayed for 20 years’ that her daughter and Ben Affleck would reunite Jennifer Lopez praises Ben Affleck for being the ‘best dad’ to her children Jennifer Garner says she ‘works really hard’ to avoid seeing stories about ex-husband Ben Affleck in the press Met Gala video shows Jennifer Lopez revealing her secret to perfect red carpet photos Jennifer Lopez praises Ben Affleck for being the ‘best dad’ to her children Jennifer Lopez’s mom ‘prayed’ that her daughter and Ben Affleck would reunite

Charles Leclerc snatches pole position after Max Verstappen’s lap was deleted
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc took pole position for the United States Grand Prix after Max Verstappen’s lap was deleted for exceeding track limits. Verstappen looked to have qualified first in his Red Bull at a sizzling Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, only to see his lap – five thousandths of a second quicker than Leclerc – chalked off by the stewards. Verstappen dropped from first to sixth with Lando Norris taking second for McLaren ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Leclerc’s team-mate Carlos Sainz finished fourth with George Russell fifth for Mercedes. Verstappen, who wrapped up his third world title in Qatar a fortnight ago, is bidding to join Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel by reaching 50 victories. But the Dutchman’s quest will start from back down the grid after he put all four wheels off the track at Turn 18 following a rare mistake. Verstappen headed into the final runs a quarter of a second down after he took aim at his team for putting him on track too close to Sergio Perez in the other Red Bull. “Well f****** done there,” he yelled over the radio. “What the f*** was that in the last corner?!” His subsequent error then allowed Leclerc to take the 21st pole of his career, 0.130 sec ahead of Norris, who finished nine thousandths clear of Hamilton. “It wasn’t easy for everybody so I am really happy to start on pole for Sunday,” said Leclerc. “It is a surprise for us because we didn’t expect to be fighting for pole. “Going into Turn 1 it is tricky here, but it is always better to start at the front than the back.” Hamilton, who has only finished off the podium once in Austin, said: “I love being in the States. The circuit is incredible and is one of my favourites, right up there with Silverstone. it is a legendary layout and incredibly challenging.” Hamilton, in his upgraded Mercedes, was fastest in the opening sector, but was unable to better Leclerc’s time. He added: “We have taken a step closer to the front which I know everyone is working so hard for. They are still a little bit ahead but we will give it another shot tomorrow. With this crowd, anything is possible.” Daniel Ricciardo is back in the saddle after missing five races with a broken hand sustained in practice for the Dutch Grand Prix on August 25. The 34-year-old Australian progressed to Q2 before lining up in 15th, one second off the pace and four places behind Yuki Tsunoda in the other AlphaTauri. Aston Martin have brought a number of upgrades across the pond, but both their drivers were sent for an early bath. Fernando Alonso managed only 17th with team-mate Lance Stroll – on a torrid run of form – two places further back. Meanwhile, American rookie Logan Sargeant, whose seat with Williams has not been confirmed for next season, will line up from last position at his home race. A sprint race will follow on Saturday before Sunday’s 56-lap grand prix.
