Chris Pratt’s daughters give him a glittery makeover
Chris Pratt has shown off his sparkly new look after his daughters gave him a makeover. The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 44, shares his daughters Eloise Christina, 15 months, and Lyla Maria, three, with his wife Kathrine Schwarzenegger. He also shares his 11-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Farris, 46. In an amusing Instagram caption, Pratt wrote: “All I have to say... Jack would never do this to me.” Pratt gave fans a glimpse of two different looks. The first one showed his forehead bedazzled with teal, purple, and silver gems. He had pearl-like gems dotting his face, as well as a teal manicure, in the other. TheTomorrow War actor opened up on Late Night with Seth Meyers about his experience going from raising one son to two daughters. Pratt noted that his daughters’ penchant for all things glitter is one of many differences that he loves and appreciates. “I love it. It’s fantastic,” he gushed to host Seth Meyers. “You know, you hear that maybe the experience is different and it really is, in my experience." “My daughter Lyla is so girly. I picked her up yesterday and she said, ‘Oh Daddy, that’s a cute outfit. Look, you have little cute pockets,” Pratt added, laughing: “That’s not something Jack ever said to me.” While Eloise and Lyla may be mini fashionistas, Jack has taken a liking to America’s favorite pastime: baseball. The Parks and Recreation alum took his son to watch a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game in late July and posted pictures of the fun father-son day on Instagram. In the photos, Pratt and his son posed with a jersey that had their last names printed on the back. “What a day! Jack and I got to hit the mound together, eat our bodyweight in Dodger Dogs and delivered the game opening announcement!” the actor captioned his post. He also mentioned his gratitude to the baseball team for hosting the fun outing: “Thank you @claytonkershaw for asking me to throw yesterday’s pitch for faith and family day, what an honour! Let’s go Dodgers!” Watching his father play baseball isn’t the only time that Jack has supported his dad. Pratt previously said that his son was “freaked out” that his dad was voicing Mario in The Super Mario Bros Movie, telling People: “He saw it already and he’s thrilled. He loves it. He took all his friends and he really freaked out.” The actor also noted that although his daughters were “a little too young” to watch the movie, he hoped that when they eventually see it “they’ll think their dad is cool”. I’m Running Up That Hill — In Lululemon’s New Trail Runners, That Is
I discovered the joys of hiking and trail running late in life, but once I started exploring scenic parks and trails just outside of New York as an adult, it was an easy sell. Not only are the views like therapy for the soul, but the endorphins I get from sweating it out and breathing in fresh, crisp air is the best kind of exercise I can think of. While I mostly run nowadays on a treadmill, it’s an understatement to say that it, well, doesn’t hit quite the same. And if Lululemon’s latest footwear launch is any indication, I’m not alone in that sentiment.

Missing Black Girls Deserve More Attention. With NBC’s Found, They’re Getting It.
NBC’s buzzy new drama Found opens with a scenario we know all too well. A white girl is missing, and the news crews are lined up, breathlessly reporting every detail in a relentless effort to bring her home. Conversely, a Black girl who has also disappeared at the same time in the same city is largely ignored, silently begging for the decency of attention instead of apathy and the same communal and police support as her peer. Enter: Gabi Mosely. Played by the inimitable Shanola Hampton (Shameless), Gabi is Olivia Pope for the missing and marginalized. She’s a PR wizard leading a crisis management team who can stand in front of a press scrum and deliver an impassioned speech as easily as she stands up to a bigoted police chief. Once a missing person herself, Gabi is uniquely suited to strut into a seemingly hopeless setup and save the day. The catch: she’s harboring a devastating secret of her own.

Bre Tiesi reveals whether she’d have another child with Nick Cannon
Bre Tiesi reveals whether she’d have another child with Nick Cannon
Bre Tiesi has revealed whether she’d have another child with Nick Cannon, who is already the father of 12 children. The Selling Sunset star shared her thoughts about expanding her family during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. Tiesi has one child, Legendary Love, who she welcomed with Cannon in June 2022. According to Tiesi, she’s not sure if she wants to have another child, given how focused she’s been on her career. “I do and I don’t,” she said. “I think that for where I’m at in my career and my life right now, I just don’t know how I could possibly manage another child.” However, she went on to note that she’s not against the possibility of giving Legendary a younger brother or sister. “Part of me does want to give him another sibling, but he has a few of those, so I don’t think he’s necessarily missing out, but it’s hard. I don’t know,” she said, referring to her son’s many half siblings. In addition to Legendary, Cannon welcomed four other children in 2022 with different women. He welcomed his daughter, Onyx Ice Cole, with model LaNisha Cole in September, and his son, Rise Messiah, with Brittany Bell in October. Cannon and Bell also share a six-year-old son, Golden, and two-year-old daughter, Powerful Queen. In November, the comedian and Abby De La Rosa welcomed their daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon. This is the pair’s third child, as they also share two-year-old twins, Zion and Zillion. The Masked Singer host and Alyssa Scott welcomed their daughter, Halo Marie, in December, one year after their son, Zen, died from a rare brain tumour. In addition, the comedian shares his 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Tiesi said that she’s spoken to Cannon about having more children and that he’s “open to whatever”. However, she echoed that if she “can’t do it a hundred per cent, I don’t want to do that”. The realtor also acknowledged that she’s still working on balancing her professional and personal life as a mother of one. “I don’t want to take more attention away from my son than I already do, working like I do, so I’m really trying to figure out how to manage that, and I think adding in another aspect of another human would be very hard,” she explained. Elsewhere in the interview, Tiesi spoke candidly about her unconventional relationship with Cannon, and praised him for being so involved in their child’s life. “So, here’s the thing that I know everyone wants to argue with me about - but he makes his own schedule,” she said. “He can show up every day, when he stops from work. He can come at night. So, he’s here every week, and especially when he’s home, he’s here.” She noted that while she and Cannon don’t have a “set schedule” or “plan things,” he’s still extremely “supportive” of her. “He’s very present and he’s at anything and everything I ask him to be at. So, I’m very happy. He’s very supportive,” she said. During an episode of Selling Sunset that aired last month, Tiesi described her relationship with Cannon as “open,” noting that her “situation is interesting” and that she wouldn’t say she’s “single”. “I don’t want to call it open, but open relationship, I guess. I just know we just had a baby, we’re really happy, so I’m happy in my relationship now,” she said. “I’m not a monogamy kind of person. Everything I’ve ever seen is divorce, and people are unhappy and it ends badly, and the kids suffer. Men can’t keep it together. It’s never us.” Read More Nick Cannon shares Mariah Carey’s ‘high frequency’ reaction to actor having 12 children Nick Cannon accused of misogyny over ‘pathetic’ Taylor Swift remark Nick Cannon forgets one of his children when asked to name all 12 How do I get a mammogram screening? Drew Barrymore shares candid Mothers’ Day post about checking into rehab as a teen
Drew Barrymore shares candid Mothers’ Day post about checking into rehab as a teen
Drew Barrymore has shared a “vulnerable” post about entering rehabilitation treatment at just 13 years old in honour of Mothers’ Day. On Saturday (May 13), the 48-year-old Hollywood star reflected on legally emancipating herself from her parents after a two-year stay at a drug rehabilitation center. In her blog post, the Drew Barrymore Show host also explained how growing up in the spotlight has influenced how she parents her own children. “When I got emancipated by the courts at 14 years old, the umbilical cord was severed, and I have not been the same since,” the Charlie’s Angels star wrote. “It was necessary for me to step away and start to become my own person. And at the age of 14, my own parent.” Barrymore shared that her mother – Jaid Barrymore – admitted her to a youth program for drug rehabilitation when she was 13 years old. The hospital, called Van Nuys Psychiatric, was located in Los Angeles, California. “Once the door shut behind me, my stay lasted almost two years,” she said. “I was in for the long haul. I bonded with a lot of the kids, because like me, they did not know where to put their anger and they did not know how to live life anymore without the need to get high or self-destruct in some form and fashion.” The Never Been Kissed star explained how the rehab center was a “revealing and healing” experience, from meeting with therapists to learning how to set boundaries. “Kids love feeling safe, and having boundaries is one of those crucial bumper rails,” she wrote. “I lived a boundaryless life and job. And this place, as hellacious as it was, it was exactly what I needed from the too much excess my life had become on the outside. “ Her two-year stint at the rehab center also taught Barrymore how to process her own emotions and understand the “foundations of telling your truth”. “Your feelings. Your faults. Your hopes and wishes. Your hurts. What and where you wanted to get to in life. And – very important – who was going to help you on your path and who would you have to let go,” she said. “For me, at the end and when I got out, it was my mother.” Despite winning emancipation from her parents at just 14 years old, Barrymore described how she “found family” in her friends and colleagues. Now, Barrymore has two daughters of her own – Olive, 10, and Frankie, nine – whom she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman. Still, becoming a mother has brought up her own feelings about her rebellious childhood. “Being a mother constantly triggers everything from my own childhood now,” Barrymore wrote. “I live in an often-petrified state of thinking about my past and wanting to have things different for them. I want them protected. I want them to grow up slowly. I want family around and traditions and rules and boundaries.” While the 50 First Dates star went on to say that motherhood has been the “greatest thing I will ever do in my life without question,” she admitted that she still needs “to continue to figure things out” so that she can “disembark from my past and live in the present”. Barrymore concluded her candid blog post by describing a recent conversation she had with her own mother on Jaid’s birthday: “I texted her. It simply read ‘Happy birthday, Mom,’ and she wrote back, ‘Thank you so much! I’m incredibly proud of you and send you love.’” “It was the biggest gift I could have ever received. To know that she is proud of me,” the actor wrote, before adding a sweet message to her own daughters. “And to my girls… I just hope I can be someone who makes you feel safe. And that you can laugh with. And that you can tell me anything. I’m here for it. I’m in the circle with you… for life.” On Instagram, fans applauded Drew Barrymore for sharing the “open and raw” blog post. “Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing,” said one fan, while another wrote: “You are beyond inspiring.” Drew Barrymore has often spoken about her complicated childhood, ever since she rose to fame in Steven Spielberg’s ET the Extra-Terrestrial when she was seven years old. The child star, whose father John Drew Barrymore was also an actor, has since published multiple memoirs about her experiences with addiction as a teenager, including 1990’s Little Girl Lost and 2015’s Wildflower. In a 2015 interview with The Guardian, Barrymore referred to the youth treatment center at Van Nuys Psychiatric hospital as an “institution”, and revealed that it was the rehab center professionals who suggested she legally separate from her mother and be declared an adult at 14. “It was a very important thing to experience for me. It was very humbling, very quieting,” Barrymore recalled at the time. “Maybe it was necessary, because I came out of there a more respecting person. And my parents didn’t teach me that, and life wasn’t teaching me that. I came out in a very different way… but I still was me.” Most recently, Drew Barrymore shared in an essay last November that giving up alcohol has been “one of the most liberating things in [her] life”. The Ever After star, who previously revealed she hasn’t drunk alcohol in four years, reflected on how important it’s been for her to prioritise herself, even when it has felt “selfish” to do so. “Maybe our definition of love changes throughout our lives, but I truly believe so much love goes outward,” she wrote. “One of the bravest things you can do is slay those dragons and finally change an awful cycle in which you’ve found yourself stuck. For me, it was to stop drinking.” Read More Drew Barrymore mocks her viral dancing in the rain video in Wednesday-themed skit Drew Barrymore reveals she hasn’t been in a relationship since she stopped drinking alcohol Drew Barrymore admits to having a ‘boring’ sex life: ‘I’ve tried everything’
