If there's one thing we know about Mario, it's that he plays well with others. Whether it be his brother Luigi, the diminutive Toad, or even sometimes Bowser himself, my man is cooperative. That even extends to characters from other companies, like Sonic the Hedgehog and Ubisoft's deranged-looking Rabbids from the Rayman series. The pair first met in 2017's Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a unique turn-based strategy game that won raves from reviewers, and now they're back for another go.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope expands on the success of the first game and adds new locations and a huge update to the battle system, dispensing with grid-based movement for something more freeform and time-dependent. It's a really cool title and at $18 an absolute steal.
